The ball doesn't know. The court doesn't know. Your muscles don’t know. Only you do, and that story you're telling yourself is the only thing that changes.

What actually changes between game one and the championship? The preparation is the same. The skills are the same. The game is the same. The only variable is the meaning you assign to the moment. And meaning is a choice.
