IN THIS LESSON

THE REASON YOU STARTED IS THE ONLY REASON THAT MATTERS

At some point, every athlete and performer stops doing it for the reason they started and starts doing it for everyone else. If someone's opinion of you changes based on whether you win or lose, how much does that opinion actually matter? The people whose support is conditional on your results are not the people whose voices deserve space in your head. You cannot control what others think of you or your performance, but you can control whether you let it define you.

That's where your power is as a performer.
